Story:
Our story began in a swamp, in that fairly cool, but starlit night, when Doug had been waiting for hours his friend Oscar to take over from him the keeping of the keyring, which was the most precious treasure of the frogs. The frogs were at war with the toads from the neighboring swamp since the dawn of time. The keyring Oscar has stolen from a human child, the frogs were keeping so carefully as the Holy Grail itself. The toads wanted to get this treasure at any cost, despite the fact that they didn't know what was that.
Doug could hardly keep his eyes open when at last Oscar arrived.
’I'm sorry, yes I know I'm late.’ he apologized.
’And of course you're late because you had a date with... ?’ Doug asked.
’Vanessa.’ said Oscar loosely, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
’Vanessa?’ echoed Doug so loudly that he almost woke all the frogs who had gone to bed. ’Are you crazy?’ he stilled his voice. ’With the boss' daughter? The whole swamp belongs to her father! And if he finds out? And if he finds out that I knew about it? There isn't a place where we can hide from his wrath! They croak everywhere that he also has an armada with so many soldiers that nobody has ever seen before! Together. In one place.’
’Calm down, Doug!’ Oscar said and setted himself comfortable on his guardplace, close to the treasure. ’This time my intentions are really serious.’ Doug's eyes became bigger than ever while he was listening to his friend. As if a totally different frog looked back at him. He was green but somehow different. ’She has so smooth hands like that human child, who I took this from. ’ Oscar nodded towards the keyring.
’Have you already got any idea what it is?’ Doug changed the subject. They were talking much more quietly than before. After all, it was the secret of every frog.
’No, I haven't. But I will, I swear.’
